GRAMMYS - MOST PROMINENT AND PRESTIGIOUS MUSICAL AWARD (African's) OF 2011

On the 13th of February 2011, the GRAMMY awards took place in Los Angeles featuring  great and amazing performances. It is an annual televised award program produced by the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences which features performances by prominent artist and awards of popular interest.
An international awards program we will call it, but several African musicians and those with just parental lineage to Africa won awards at the GRAMMYS.
"Sade", the band name after  the lead singer Sade Adu won the R & B performance by a duo or group with vocals for "Soldier of Love,” Soldier of Love. The band members include Sade Adu, Stuart Matthewman, Paul Spencer Denman and Andrew Hale.
Traditional World Music Album: Ali And Toumani, Ali Farka Touré & Toumani Diabaté (Mali).
Pop Collaboration With Vocals: “Imagine,” Herbie Hancock, Pink, India.Arie, Seal, Konono No 1 (Congo), Jeff Beck & Oumou Sangaré (Mali) -The Imagine Project.
Instrumental Arrangement Accompanying Vocalist(s): “Baba Yetu,” Christopher Tin, Soweto Gospel Choir (South Africa) & Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Calling All Dawns.
Nigerian actress/musician Omotola Jalade Ekeinde was spotted in a white and black dress on the Grammy Red carpet.
Tiwa Savage, a professional writer who co-wrote a popular track called Collard greens and Cornbread off Fantasia's Back 2 Me album was also nominated in the best R&B category of which both parties(artiste) benefited.
All these just shows that a black man doesn't have a blank mind and soon, history of failure and backwardness would all be forgotten, just don't give up.......
